3 tips to be highly productive as a Work-at-home Mom!
Do you ever wonder how you'll get everything on your to-do list completed? greatest time management and productivity books and advice I could find, and
then experimenting with various methods until I discovered what worked best for
me.
TIP #1
Establish a morning routine
It's simple for
me to start here because I've always been a morning person. I usually get up a
couple of hours before my kids so that I can have some peaceful time to start
my day. I use this time to read my Bible, journal, organize my thoughts for the
day, exercise, walk, or do anything else I need to do to start the day on a
positive note.
Design Your Day,
by Claire Diaz-Ortiz, is a terrific book that delves deeper into creating your
personal morning ritual. If you want further advice, I recommend reading her
book; it's a brief read that's well worth your time. What the Most Successful
People Do Before Breakfast, by Laura Vanderkam, is another option. It's a fast
read that's jam-packed with helpful tips for getting your day off to a good
start.
It's also fine if
you're not a morning person. You can establish an evening routine for yourself
that will help you prepare for the next day's success. It could include
reading, planning out the next day's responsibilities, or anything else that
will help you get ready for a productive day.
Tip 2#
Focus on a Keystone habit
The expression
"keystone habit" was invented by Charles Duhigg. The routines and
actions in your life that lead to other beneficial habits are known as keystone
habits. One positive keystone behavior has a cascading influence on your other
daily habits. Resume consultants will

It's why I set
myself up for success by starting my day with a regular regimen. If I get up,
have breakfast, and read my Bible, the rest of my morning routine falls into
place automatically: a 20-minute home workout, a 30-minute nature walk, and 90
minutes of intense creative work or social media marketing. The transition from
one work to the next is seamless.
Tip #3
Divide time evenly for different things
Before I go into
the strategies, let me explain what deep work is. Deep work is the truly
productive, often creative job we undertake that necessitates our undivided
concentration and fits with our maximum potential contribution (a term used by
Greg McKeown in his book, Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less). It's
essentially the purposeful Labour that God has assigned to us. Work that honors
him while benefiting others. Deep work is not administrative work, such as
chores that may be delegated, checking and replying to emails, and so forth.

author, deep work refers to the amount of time you put into writing your book.
