How do I make my resume look more extensive than it is?

When you don't have a lot of professional experience, it can be tempting to try to fill in the gaps with filler information. Over-explaining each bullet point is a common occurrence. However, you are not obligated to do so. In fact, recruiters and hiring managers prefer not to read long paragraphs, so limit your bulleted list to the most important and impressive responsibilities.

And, because most entry-level positions (by definition) require two years or less of experience, no recruiter will expect you to have a lengthy professional history. If you need to add some colour to your resume that your resume format doesn't allow, a cover letter may be the best way to do so. Your resume can only be filled out with time and experience. Concentrate on landing that first job, and the rest will fall into place.

Should I include an objective or a summary?

The truth about objective statements is that they aren't read at best, and at worst, they can get you kicked out of the running for a job. If your objective does not EXACTLY match the role you're applying for, your recruiter will screen it out. Finally, objective statements are superfluous because recruiters already know you're looking for work because you applied!

Can I include volunteer work on my resume?

Absolutely. Volunteering, internships, and even coursework that can demonstrate that you have the experience and/or skillsets to do the job are typically encouraged for entry-level professionals. Getting your first job out of college can be difficult at times, but hopefully the tips above will assist you as you begin your journey.
